penultimate event of the 2019 'DIRTcar Nationals' at Volusia Speedway

out on the 50-lap feature at VSP after placing sixth in his stacked

Day for the #83 team was headlined by another $10,000 to win World
of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series shootout tonight at
Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida. Scott James qualified
twenty-fifth fastest in Group B during time trials, but later stormed
through the field in his heat race to grab the third and final transfer
spot. After rolling off from the outside of the seventh row in the
50-lap main event, Scott drew an early yellow flag on lap 17 before
eventually retiring from the contest after only 42 circuits. The
"Silver Shark" was paid for a twenty-second place showing
tonight at VSP.

World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series returned to
competition tonight at Volusia Speedway Park and a $10,000 top prize
was on the line for the stellar 44 car field. Scott James - competing
for his first time this week at the Barberville, Florida facility
- was unfortunately involved in a heat race incident before finishing
seventh in his B-Main. Scott then utilized a provisional to start
twenty-seventh on the grid and eventually wound up nineteenth in
Off 2019 Campaign in Winter Freeze IX
9, 2019) The
World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series kicked off their
version of the 2019 racing season on February 8-9 at Screven Motor
Speedway in Sylvania, Georgia. The Peach State venue drew a 39 car
field for the 'Winter Freeze IX,' which featured two complete shows
paying $10,000 to win each night. On Friday night in his season
lid lifter, Scott James ran ninth in his heat race before advancing
up to second in his B-Main, but was later involved in a tangle on
the second circuit of the 50-lap headliner. Scott soldiered on in
the 'Winter Freeze' opener to claim a nineteenth place effort. In
tonight's $10,000 to win program, the Lawrenceburg, Indiana ace
unfortunately was not able to advance into the 50-lapper after finishing
eighth in both his heat race and his B-Main.

1, 2019) Following
a very short off-season, Scott James and the Dolhun Motorsports
team will jump right back into racing action in the month of February
with the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series. From
February 8-16, Scott plans to enter all six national series events
at Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Georgia and Volusia Speedway
Park in Barberville, Florida. Each of the six shows during "Speedweeks"

Another 411 Win to Close Out '18 Season with a Bang!
30, 2018) For
the second straight visit to 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, Tennessee,
Scott James and Dolhun Motorsports celebrated in victory lane on
Saturday night, December 29 to boost their 2018 win total to three!
Scott posted the fastest lap in Group B during the qualifying session
to earn the outside of the front row for the start of the 40-lap
'Hangover' feature event. After leading the first fourteen circuits,
Scott then regained the point from laps 17-19. As the attrition-filled
race wore on, the popular driver known as the "Silver Shark"
retook the lead for good on the 30th circuit and bested Donald McIntosh,
Ryan King, Eric Webber, and Todd Coffman at the unfurling of the
checkered flag to score the $4,000 top prize! Complete results from

Lands Second Win of 2018 in Leftover!!!
25, 2018) Scott
James, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, recorded his second feature victory
of the 2018 campaign on Saturday evening, November 24 in the annual
running of the 'Leftover' at 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, Tennessee!
Scott, who was quick in Friday's practice session, knocked down
the second fastest time in Group B during the Schaeffer's Oil Iron-Man
Championship Series qualifying session to earn the outside of the
second row for the start of the 50-lap feature event. The popular
driver known as the "Silver Shark" moved up to second
early in the contest and hunted down early race leader Michael Chilton.
Scott eventually made the pass for the win on lap 33 when Chilton
had terminal mechanical problems and he went on to lead the remainder
of the distance to claim the $5,000 windfall over Chris Garnes,
Jackie Boggs, Chicky Barton, and Victor Lee! Complete results from
