Competes in Illini 100 Weekend at Farmer City...
4, 2021) Next
up for the Scott James Motorsports team was a visit to Farmer City
Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois on April 2-3 for the annual running
of the 'Illini 100.' A very strong field piled into the pit area
at the 1/4-mile oval to compete in the two-day show, which was once
again sanctioned by the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model
Series. On Friday night in the $6,000 to win opener, Scott James
grabbed the fourth transfer spot through his heat race and was vying
for a top ten finish in the 25-lapper until he was crashed out on
a late restart, which relegated him to a disappointing twenty-sixth
place showing. In Saturday's grand finale, which boasted a whopping
$20,000 paycheck, Scott unfortunately missed out on transferring
into the 75-lapper after running seventh in his heat race and fourth
in his B-Main. Full results from the 'Illini 100' weekend can be

Fast Right Out of the Box in Season Lid Lifter!
28, 2021) The
season-opening trip for the #83 team was a visit to the nearby Florence
Speedway in Union, Kentucky on Saturday, March 27. The unsanctioned
Super Late Model contest drew 24 competitors to the Cincinnati-area
venue to compete for the $5,000 paycheck. Scott James picked up
a heat race triumph in preliminary action and later rolled off from
the outside of the front row in the 40-lap headliner. After leading
laps 11-20 of the feature, Scott nudged the outside retaining wall
and unfortunately a piece of the spring steel on the nose broke
off against the tire. With the steering issues, the "Silver
Shark" was still able to hang on to a stellar third place podium
effort behind only winner Josh Rice and runner-up Tyler Erb! Complete
